Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding on his deep appreciation for early music, 'The Enchanted Garden' sees The John Renbourn Group interpreting traditional English folk tunes through complex, baroque-inspired arrangements. The interplay between Renbourn's precise acoustic guitar and Jacqui McShee's pristine vocals creates a deeply historical and pastoral atmosphere. It is a masterful execution of the British folk revival's more academic wing.
