Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following a lengthy period dedicated to theatrical concept albums, 'Sleepwalker' marks a definitive return to straightforward, guitar-driven rock and roll for the British group. The sessions were marked by internal tension, resulting in the departure of bassist John Dalton during recording. Despite the behind-the-scenes friction, the project successfully rejuvenated the band's commercial standing and initiated a successful stadium-rock era in the United States.
