Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled and released entirely without the consent or input of Ray Davies following the band's departure from Reprise, this legendary collection unearthed a treasure trove of late-60s unreleased material. Despite its legally dubious origins鈥攚hich eventually forced it out of print鈥攊t provides an essential, remarkably cohesive glimpse into the group's most fertile creative era.
