To the Bone

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anticipating the mainstream unplugged trend, this intimate double-album was partially recorded before a small audience at their Konk Studios. Ray and Dave Davies revisit their expansive catalog with stripped-down, folk-inflected acoustic arrangements, highlighted by two brand new studio tracks. Released as internal band tensions reached a breaking point, it effectively served as the final official release before their permanent dissolution.
