Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating primarily as a studio vehicle for producer Ian Broudie, the project embraced a much richer, collaborative approach on this sophomore effort. 'Sense' bridges the gap between classic 1960s jangle pop and the contemporary Madchester dance rhythms that were sweeping Britain at the time. Featuring co-writes with Terry Hall of The Specials, the record delivered multiple infectious, melancholic pop anthems that dominated UK radio.
