Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Melbourne indie-pop veterans deliver an exceptionally sophisticated and deeply melancholic set of jangle-pop songwriting. Characterized by intricate acoustic guitars, subtle string arrangements, and Marty Donald's highly literate, pun-heavy lyricism, the album perfectly balances wistful romanticism with bright, sunny melodies. It is widely considered the creative pinnacle of their long-running, fiercely independent career.
