Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing to act as the rhythmic backbone of New Orleans R&B, the instrumental quartet delivered another stunningly tight clinic in syncopated funk. Produced by Allen Toussaint, the album is highlighted by 'Hand Clapping Song', further demonstrating Zigaboo Modeliste's impossibly agile, foundational drum breaks that would continually define the genre.
