Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to broaden their commercial appeal, the New Orleans funk pioneers incorporate slicker production values and prominent vocal harmonies into their deeply syncopated sound. While shifting away from the raw instrumental grit of their early work, the rhythm section remains incredibly tight, exploring covers and standard R&B song structures.
