Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masquerading as a punk band, former progressive rock veterans John Ford and Richard Hudson utilized The Monks as a clever, satirical vehicle. 'Bad Habits' delivers razor-sharp power pop hooks and driving pub-rock energy, heavily mocking the posturing of the contemporary British punk scene. The single 'Nice Legs Shame About Her Face' became a surprising chart success, validating their masterful grasp of melodic pop pastiche.
