Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring an incredibly sharp, heavily angular guitar attack heavily indebted to 1960s surf rock and psychedelia, The Monochrome Set鈥檚 debut is a wildly inventive British post-punk gem. 'Strange Boutique' marries fiercely energetic, highly rhythmic musicianship with Bid's deeply quirky, urbane, and slightly romantic vocal stylings, creating a uniquely warm and eccentric art-rock vision.
