Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following their massive hit 'Airport', the British outfit The Motors shifted further away from their pub rock origins, fully embracing a polished, synthesizer-heavy pop-rock format. Co-produced by Jimmy Iovine, 'Tenement Steps' is steeped in sleek, radio-ready new wave hooks and melodramatic vocal performances. Despite high production values, it proved to be the band's final studio album.
