Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed by former members of Ducks Deluxe, The Motors launched their debut album right as pub rock began mutating into the new wave movement. The record delivers razor-sharp power pop hooks anchored by a tough, bar-band rhythmic sensibility. Anchored by the hit single 'Dancing the Night Away', the collection stands as a crucial bridge between pub rock's gritty traditionalism and the punchy melodicism of late 70s British pop.
