Album Notes & Community Reviews

One of John Darnielle's earliest cassette releases, 'Hot Garden Stomp' captures the raw, unvarnished essence of his lo-fi indie folk aesthetic. The fiercely strummed acoustic guitar and distinctively literate, narrative-driven lyricism lay the foundational groundwork for his immense cult legacy.
