Acting as a magnificent, heavy-hitting swan song for their original lineup, The Move transitioned perfectly from concise pop singles to sprawling progressive rock ambition. 'Shazam' is wonderfully quirky and fiercely energetic, blending heavily distorted psychedelic rock riffs with incredibly melodic, surprisingly complex art-pop arrangements and classical interpolations.
