Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Canadian indie-pop supergroup rebounds with an incredibly dense, synthesizer-heavy collection of upbeat, hook-driven power pop. A.C. Newman leads the ensemble through highly complex, intertwining vocal arrangements featuring significant contributions from Neko Case and Dan Bejar. The meticulously layered production deliberately mimics a modern, synthetic interpretation of Phil Spector's iconic Wall of Sound.
