Continue as a Guest

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written and recorded remotely during the pandemic, the ninth album from the Canadian indie rock collective leans slightly away from their traditional high-energy power pop. 'Continue as a Guest' heavily incorporates synthesizers, drum machines, and a notably more subdued, atmospheric tone, while still retaining A.C. Newman's dense, melodic songcraft. It serves as a more reflective, introspective entry in their extensive catalog.
