Album Notes & Community Reviews

A.C. Newman leads the venerable Canadian indie-rock collective through a thematically focused eighth studio album. Utilizing the metaphor of cars and traffic to explore modern societal anxiety and romantic dread, the record retains the band's signature multi-vocalist, synth-layered power pop. Neko Case's contributions remain central, anchoring the dense, highly melodic orchestrations.
