Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Robert Jan Stips, who would eventually join the band, 'Work' represents a significant maturation for the Dutch ensemble. The album steps away from frantic power pop, embracing complex, atmospheric keyboard textures and surreal, deeply melodic songwriting that paved the way for their highly idiosyncratic art-pop future[cite: 1].
