Holocene

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the grand conclusion to their long-running paleontology-themed album series, 'Holocene' brings the band's conceptual timeline into the current human epoch. The record is notably less guitar-driven than its predecessors, relying heavily on creeping brass sections and progressive electronic synthesizer textures to build its heavy, existential post-metal atmospheres.
