Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the cult success of their debut, the English rockers returned with an arguably more cohesive set of melodic, guitar-driven anthems. Peter Perrett's languid, romanticized lyricism heavily detailed themes of addiction and existential longing, beautifully contrasted by John Perry's soaring lead guitar work. The album endures as a vital, if commercially underappreciated, gem of the new wave era.
