Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the success of their hit single 'I'm in Love with a German Film Star', the British group embraced a lush, dreamier sound for their third and final album. 'Sanctuary' highlights Barbara Gogan's ethereal vocals backed by shimmering synthesizers and intricate, atmospheric post-punk guitar textures. Despite its strong, sophisticated songwriting, the record failed to achieve mainstream success, leading to the band's eventual dissolution.
