Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Keith Forsey, 'Mirror Moves' finds the London outfit fully embracing polished studio technology and synthesizer-heavy arrangements. Richard Butler's raspy vocals provide a gritty counterpoint to the sleek, dance-oriented rhythms, highlighted on tracks like 'The Ghost in You'. The stylistic evolution signaled a deliberate shift away from their abrasive post-punk roots toward mainstream alternative radio.
