Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dialing back the glossy pop production of their late 80s output, the veteran British post-punk outfit leaned into heavily textured, atmospheric neo-psychedelia on their final studio album before a long hiatus. 'World Outside' benefits from a lush, somewhat shoegaze-adjacent sonic wash that beautifully complements Richard Butler's distinct, raspy melancholia.
