Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from a protracted, bitter legal battle with their record label, the Swedish indie-pop duo abandons the fuzzy guitars of their past for icy, rhythmically driven synth-pop. The album is their most overtly political statement to date, tackling the rise of right-wing extremism, xenophobia, and police brutality in Sweden over driving, 1990s-inspired techno and house beats. It stands as a brilliant, deceptively danceable protest record.
