Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore effort from the Manchester outfit delivers pristine jangle pop characterized by Gary Newby's warm, bittersweet songwriting. Featuring immaculate guitar interplay and a slightly more polished new wave production, it achieved considerable success on the UK independent charts. The melodic accessibility firmly established them as key figures in the late-eighties British indie landscape.
