Album Notes & Community Reviews
Dropping the 'Young' from their moniker, the blue-eyed soul hitmakers produced their first fully conceptual album, embracing the burgeoning psychedelic pop aesthetic. Conceived as a continuous suite bridged by sound effects and orchestration, the record marries their signature R&B grit with dense, Sgt. Pepper-influenced studio experimentation. It spawned several major hits, including the incredibly joyous, harmony-drenched 'It's Wonderful'.
