Album Notes & Community Reviews
Ruthlessly desecrating classic 1960s pop hits through terrifying tape manipulation, The Residents delivered a bizarre, fiercely antagonistic conceptual assault on rock and roll commercialism. 'The Third Reich 'n Roll' is an incredibly ominous, heavily avant-garde musical parody, utilizing wonderfully surreal sound collages and deeply satirical, lo-fi humor to completely destroy familiar melodies.
