Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially released independently as a limited 1000-copy pressing, the debut from upstate New York power trio The Rods is a raucous, unapologetic blast of American heavy metal. 'Rock Hard' features furious, blues-based riffing and aggressive drumming from former Elf member Carl Canedy. The raw, high-energy recording quickly secured the band major-label backing and international touring slots.
