Album Notes & Community Reviews
After a long hiatus and lineup changes, James Mercer returns with a more polished and studio-oriented sound. 'Port of Morrow' trades the acoustic strumming of earlier records for slick production and synthesizer textures. Despite the gloss, Mercer's gift for undeniable melody and thoughtful lyricism remains intact.
