Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Scottish group's sophomore effort further refines their eclectic approach to alternative pop rock. Blending pristine jangle pop melodies with subtle undercurrents of Celtic folk music, the record features a warm, uplifting production style. The deeply rhythmic and occasionally playful songwriting established them as distinct fixtures within the late-eighties UK independent scene[cite: 1].
