Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Style Council's debut album is a remarkably sophisticated, highly eclectic fusion of jazz-pop, soul, and mellow sophisti-pop. Paul Weller weaves sharp, politically conscious lyricism through lush, atmospheric arrangements that completely abandoned the aggressive mod-punk of The Jam.
