Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their highly successful collaboration with producer Norman Whitfield, the legendary vocal quintet offered a gritty, politically charged reflection on American urban decay. The title track's pessimistic, apocalyptic tone perfectly encapsulates the socially conscious, heavily funk-oriented phase of their extensive discography.
