Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Puzzle People' continued the Temptations' collaboration with producer Norman Whitfield during Motown's psychedelic soul period. The album includes socially conscious material and extended arrangements that moved beyond the group's earlier romantic ballad model. It captures the vocal ensemble adapting to funk rhythms, rock textures, and late-1960s political urgency.
