Album Notes & Community Reviews

Guided by producer Norman Whitfield, this vital release perfectly captures the legendary vocal group cementing their transition from polished Motown pop to expansive, cinematic soul. The album famously contains the soaring, timeless ballad 'Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)' alongside sprawling, heavily orchestrated funk epics. Crucially, it marks the final appearance of founding members Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams.
