Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dominated by the elegant songwriting and production of Smokey Robinson, 'Temptin' Temptations' solidified the group's reputation as Motown's premier vocal quintet. The album highlights the contrasting, dynamic leads of David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks against lush, sweeping arrangements on hits like 'Since I Lost My Baby'. It remains a towering achievement of mid-60s soul harmony.
