Album Notes & Community Reviews

Highlighting the lush production of Norman Whitfield, this release features David Ruffin's deeply impassioned lead vocals on some of the group's most enduring ballads. 'The Temptations Wish It Would Rain' balances polished Motown orchestrations with raw, melancholic vocal performances. It remains a definitive statement of the classic five-man lineup just before Ruffin's departure from the ensemble.
