Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Temptations' 'The Temptations With a Lot o' Soul' stands as the most successful LP from the group's "Classic 5" era. Featuring David Ruffin's iconic lead vocals, the album transitioned the group toward Norman Whitfield's harder-edged soul productions. The record perfectly balances their elegant vocal harmonies with an increasingly rhythmic urgency.
