Diverging from the sparkling jangle-pop typically associated with the Flying Nun label, the New Zealand outfit delivers a claustrophobic, organ-driven blast of dark psychedelia. The intensely lo-fi production and Stephen Cogle's unnerving vocal delivery create a uniquely chaotic, raw extension of the Dunedin Sound.
