Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded on an 8-track cassette machine inside a remote shearing shed in rural Western Australia, 'In the Pines' is an incredibly intimate, lo-fi detour for the acclaimed indie group. The skeletal folk-rock arrangements and raw recording techniques perfectly underscore David McComb's deeply introspective, Americana-infused songwriting.
