Album Notes & Community Reviews

Retreating slightly from the aggressive proto-punk of their early singles, The Troggs embraced a gentler, more melodic approach on 'Cellophane'. The record features increased use of vocal harmonies and subtle psychedelic flourishes, reflecting the shifting tastes of the British pop landscape toward the end of 1967. Despite the softer edges, their inherent garage attitude remains present.
