Infamously recorded by Doug Yule after Lou Reed and all original members had completely abandoned the band, 'Squeeze' is a widely dismissed, bizarre footnote in rock history. The album is essentially a Doug Yule solo record, presenting a surprisingly melodic, mildly playful collection of Beatlesque pop-rock entirely disconnected from the band's legendary avant-garde legacy.
