Album Notes & Community Reviews

Distinguishing themselves from their Flying Nun peers through formal musical training, Graeme Downes infused this record with sophisticated shifts in tempo and dramatic horn and string sections. The result is a highly literate, structurally complex iteration of jangle pop marked by romantic frustration and nervous energy.
