Album Notes & Community Reviews

A quintessential act of the fabled Flying Nun roster, the New Zealand group brought their sophisticated, classically influenced guitar pop to a larger label. Graeme Downes's dense, literate songwriting is elevated by cleaner production, creating a passionate, highly melodic expansion of the Dunedin Sound.
