Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by former Loft frontman Peter Astor, the group delivered a defining document of the British jangle pop movement with their debut full-length. 'Mayflower' merges the ramshackle, DIY energy of the C86 era with slightly blues-inflected guitar work and poetic, world-weary vocals. The album remains a highly revered, quintessential release of the Creation Records extended family.
