Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Steve Fisk, 'Watusi' marks a significant departure from the relentless, high-speed guitar strumming that defined the band's earlier work. David Gedge opted for more varied, mid-tempo arrangements incorporating 1960s pop textures and vocal harmonies, demonstrating the group's stylistic flexibility amidst the ascendant Britpop scene.
