Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abel Tesfaye fully transitions into a global pop titan, shedding the murky drug-haze of his early mixtapes for glossy, 1980s-inspired synth-pop and upbeat R&B. The album famously opens and closes with massive collaborations alongside legendary French electronic duo Daft Punk. While retaining his signature hedonistic, nocturnal lyricism, the record is undeniably driven by massive, radio-friendly hooks.
