Album Notes & Community Reviews

The xx's debut is a masterclass in minimalism and space. Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim trade whispered vocals over Jamie xx's sparse, MPC-driven beats and echoing guitars. It is an intimate, nocturnal record that redefined the sound of indie pop.
