Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album from the legendary British blues-rock pioneers is notable as the only release to feature Jimmy Page as the sole lead guitarist. Producer Mickie Most attempted to steer the band toward polished, radio-friendly psychedelic pop, leading to a disjointed set that frustrated the group's heavier instincts. It serves as a fascinating, flawed transitional document prior to their evolution into Led Zeppelin.
