Produced by Mick Jones of The Clash, 'Westworld' integrates militant, tribal drumming and soaring saxophone lines into a dramatic post-punk framework. Frontman Kirk Brandon's impassioned, operatic vocal delivery gave the band a distinct, martial identity that heavily influenced the emerging positive punk and goth scenes.
