Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the massive international commercial success of 'Troublegum', 'Infernal Love' finds the Northern Irish trio Therapy? taking a distinctly darker, much more cinematic conceptual turn. Incorporating lush string arrangements orchestrated by David Holmes and embracing a moody, goth-tinged visual aesthetic, the record actively alienated some traditional punk fans while showcasing the band's highly ambitious songwriting. It remains a polarizing yet fascinatingly textured chapter in their extensive discography, highlighted by a haunting, cello-driven cover of H眉sker D眉's 'Diane'.
